Our Story

How we got acquainted...

She said:

It was during our Philippine National Red Cross training week that we met in 1996.  We were both sitting on the hallway, waiting for our turn to be called for the CPR demo when my friend Eric joked about how Jayson wanted to meet me.  I laughed 'til i cried when Eric told me that J had a crush on me.  Hahaha!  I told myself, they must be playing me again.  I tried to dismiss the thought but I couldn't.  Deep inside, I liked him too! From the moment he stepped inside the room, I knew that I'd spend my lifetime with him.  There was something behind his snobbish front that I found attractive.

He said:
It was a long time ago and I don't recall vividly how it all happened but I knew how I felt.  It was both of doubt and certainty, of humility and confidence, of chance and destiny.  Big things come from humble beginnings and this was no exception.  It began as a vagueness within and gradually, eventually defined itself into one of the most significant events in my life.  It hasn't been the smoothest of rides but that's just the way it's always been.  To put it simply in the words of the great Rudy Tomjanovich, former head coach of the back-to-back NBA champion Houston Rockets, "It has been my experience that anything good in life you have to work hard at it, instead of pulling apart we start pulling together."

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.
